At Southpointe Christian Center we are dedicated to ministering to children and training them for a life of serving God. Our desire is to see children give their hearts and lives to Christ at any early age; lead them in a personal relationship with God, with others, and toward their destiny.

Sunday School:

"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6

Southpointe Christian Center offers a Christian Education program, designed to teach and train our elementary age children in the way of the Lord.

Kid's Church:

Kid's Church is dedicated to ministering to children and training them for a life of serving God. In this service, children are able to use their God-given talents by leading worship, playing instruments, playing for one another, doing puppet shows or participating in the lesson.

Our goal is that some core needs of their lives are met such as a sense of belonging, security, purpose and competence. On Sunday morning we offer two services at 11am - one to Kindergartners and one for those in 1st to 6th grade. We teach the Word of God through Worship, Story Telling, Object Lessons, Scripture Verses, Games and Special Activities.

For those that are in our 1st to 6th grade service we meet for worship with our families in the main sanctuary and then head to the chapel during offering.

Nursery & Preschool:

Special care is given to our littlest ones during service times. A nursery for newborn to the toddler age is available as well as a large room for the active preschoolers, ages 2 - 4.

Special Events:

Throughout the year we offer several special events for children and families such as a Huge Easter Egg Hunt, Kid's Crusade, Kid's Camp, Harvest Festival, Thanksgiving and Christmas Celebrations!

Safety concerns:

The safety of children and peace of mind for parents is a primary concern and focus at Southpointe. We make every effort to ensure that the children entrusted to us are protected and safe. Adult leaders go through leadership and ministry training classes and are each personally interviewed and evaluated.
